TESTIMONIALS
– WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE CRAIG WOOLARD BAND
6/20/8
Craig,
I spoke with you in Washington at the River Festival a couple of weeks ago. I am a soldier in the National Guard's 1132nd MP Company, who just recently returned home from Iraq. I just wanted to let you know that while I was in Baghdad, your music brought inspiration not just to me but to many other soldiers in my company. I shared your music with everyone. It inspired me to do many things and kept me going when the times got hard. It has inspired me so much that Sallie and I have thought about having you play at our wedding.
A drummer myself and beach music guru, you have inspired me to start a beach music band of my own. I've decided to take this band to the extreme not only from Maine to Florida but also to outreach the college network and USO tours for our soldiers. By doing this, I would like to ask you and your friends for any advice or any leads for musicians that can help make this possible. I look to you as a mentor and as a friend.
It was great to finally see you again in concert on Saturday afternoon. I have looked forward to that day for a very long time. Thank you for giving me another "piece of home" and something else to look forward to coming home too. There aren't many bands left like yours and it's good to know that you are still out there making good music happen.
Look forward to hearing from you soon...
Best Wishes,
SPC Andy Renfro

Hi Craig:
Good things happen in time if you have the desire, work ethic and perseverance. You have all that. As I told you a few years ago, your untimely departure from the Embers will probably turn out the best thing for you in the long run. I think you can look back now and truly say that has happened.
We sometimes are dealt things in life we do not understand at moment. In your case, I think the untimeliness may have been the unexpected at that moment but, in a strange way, you were destined for bigger and better things. I truly hope God has blessed you that way. You seem to have a different aura now on your on as you have made your own destiny. This is something you should be proud of as YOUR TIME HAS CERTAINLY COME!!!
You and your band sounded the best that I have heard you to date. Yesterday was the first time that I have heard you since Sam and Andy has been in the band. Sam reminds me a lot of a black drummer I used to play with from Goldsboro. Boy does he have both, "the hands & the feet!" He is exactly what you need as he knows how to follow SPONTANEITY and your performance had plenty of that yesterday as you were reading and playing to the crowd. Every musician does have not have instantaneous ability to go with the flow. My hat is off to you. Also, let me say that your two horn players add an extra edge you didn't have before. Now you got a horn section. Andy's vocals also adds another dimension to the band.
So, brother, this musician thinks you TORE THE ROOF OFF THAT SUCKER at the Blueberry Festival yesterday. Once again, great job. I think I have played most if not all the songs you played yesterday either on keyboards or trumpet or both sometime or another in my life.
Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know we really enjoyed the show.
Have a good one,
Jimmy

I just want you to know that I had 2 other parties to go to the night of your performance at the Washington Festival – but I skipped them both to see you and THE CWB! And, I am glad I did. We all had a great time!
We had been looking forward to this for a long time, and I know we made the right decision! GREAT SHOW!!!!!

I have heard nothing but great things about you and the band from the Washington festival! It is the buzz all over town. Craig, you do and did a fantastic job, and the town is so proud of you. Keep your good heart, and
good things will continue to happen for you.

I attended the Carolina Beach Music Festival this year and was very disappointed that you and The CWB were not there this year. I stayed for a short while and then left. Sure hope you will figure out a way to play it next year. It was not the same without CWB. Your band is one of the very best bands, and we enjoy your music. We have a place at Carolina Beach, and it is sad that there is no where for the bands to play anymore. I guess we will have to catch you in Radford! PLEASE – make sure they keep bringing you back there! You ARE the BEST band they have there, hands down!
Keep Making those Waves!

My wife and I have become huge fans since seeing you at Live After Five in Lumberton this past year. WE have seen the CWB as many times as our schedules will allow and plan on taking the CWB cruise if at all possible.
You were at the Robeson County Fair in Sept/ Oct of last year and I asked the soundman if you could play what has become one of our favorite songs. As you said on stage "I didn't quite get the message straight". We were engaged at the time and planned to use the song as part of the wedding ceremony, "hope you didn't mind". If There Is A Tear In My Eye" says everything I could ever want to say to her as she has made my life complete. I know that you have new members in the band, but if it is at all possible could you work the song
into your set at this year's live After Five in Lumberton on the 29th. We will be front and center and look forward to another great show.. By the way it was
hell getting onto Oak Island friday night but it was worth it as you and the guys more than lived up to what we have come to expect. An d as you say "I've
Got A Feeling That WE'll BE Seeing Each Other Again."
Greatfully yours,
Wes and Lisa Hardee

Craig,
MAN the crab festival show was beyond awesome, it was unbelievable, it was a great performance by everyone. Rose and I returned on Sunday and the crowd was not as large as the crowd for the CWB.

The CWB has done it again – BEST show of the entire festival, and I was at every one of them all 4 days. And with the schedule you had this week with no sleep, you are amazing. I realize you are in VERY HIGH demand, but you really need to slow down some! I happen to know someone that went to the wedding you did in Charleston (after performing for 4 hours before in Little River), and they said you were fantastic there too. They told us the Bride and Groom had booked you over a year in advance to be sure and get you, and that you told them you had a festival you do every year on that date, but you promised you would work it out so you could do their wedding too. But that’s the kind of guy you are, and why you are so loved in this business. You always go the extra mile, but this weekend you went an extra 1000 miles!
I still don’t know how you guys made it – leaving Charleston at 2am and getting into Virginia Beach at 9:00 in the morning to perform at the Virginia Beach Music Festival at noon. When do you sleep? But, you guys sure did not show that you were tired and had driven all night to get there! The performance was outstanding! Thank you for being such a pro. Your dedication to your fans is remarkable!
See you next year – after that performance, there is no doubt that The Craig Woolard Band will be back! I know you said you already have a wedding booked on the Saturday before, so I guess you will be doing it again!!!!
I understand you have another busy week since you are doing your CWB gigs, but also covering 2 gigs with another band, the Prophets, so that their band can work this week. What a guy! I know they appreciate that! I don’t know many people who would do that.
Get some rest!

Your performance at the Azalea Festival was FANTASTIC! The showmanship,
energy and music were exceptional. This was one of the best performances
in this area we have seen, and we hope to see the CWB again soon,
either at the beach or back here in the Upstate.

I just wanted to pass along that The Red Cross reported they raised
another record amount thanks to you! You have played for this event
every year except one – you were already booked that year and
they couldn’t get you. Please – make sure you can come
back next year – trust me, it is not the same without you and
your band! Not only do we help a good cause, we get to have fun doing
it!
Thanks
for a great time, and we look forward to next year (Hint!)

Thanks for a great evening Saturday night at the Marriott, and for
all you did to make the night a big deal for the folks at MDA.....your
show as always was outstanding!......it's great to see that you and
the guys all have a great vibe on stage, and as many nights as you
all work a month, you still have fun together every set. I'm up every
weekday morning at the real "marketable skill" I have been
leaning on my entire adult life, talking into a radio mic and drinking
coffee, but I'd much rather be playing bass with you!....but reality
hits, and I'm more than satisfied working with the Band Of Gold on
the weekends! I hope we get to play a festival or two with you guys
this summer…if you're in Charlotte during the day and I can
buy you lunch...again, thanks for a great show saturday night, and
for letting me interrupt your sets with my announcements for the crowd!

Great band! You are one heck of an entertainer! Really enjoyed the
party. I heard a lot of great comments from our staff and clients
– said this was the best company event we have had. I will be
speaking you soon about next year.
It was
great working with you, and thank you for being so accommodating to
our unusual program!

It was great seeing you Friday night at 2001. You all really sounded
good! Love the new songs. The couples with us kept talking about what
a great entertainer you are.
Take care and we are looking forward to seeing you several more times
this summer.

Hey Craig,
Hope you are doing well. Haven't talked to you in a while. Just wanted
you to know "Bet You'll Never Be Sorry" is doing really
well here! I played it one day during a beach break and it is taking
off with steam! Money Honey is doing great as well. In fact I've got
that at #5 on our chart with Bet You'll Never Be Sorry at #15 and
both are on the rise!
Has anyone from Virginia Beach said anything about the weekend beach
music events for the summer? I know last year they tried it out to
see how it did and I hadn't heard if they were doing anything or not
this year.
Take
Care!

I saw you guys in Greenville – WOW! Your band is better than
ever. I saw some new faces and was happy to see you never miss a beat,
no matter what. As long as you are on the stage, everything is great!
You seem to get better with age! (I mean that totally as a compliment
– like a good wine!) Please don’t even think of retiring
until I get married – I have to have you at my wedding!
Keep
singing!

I attended the fundraiser at ECU last week, and I wanted to tell you
how great the band was. Thatwas my first time seeing you, but I had
heard a lot about you and the band from my friends. I am from Wyoming,
and we really don’t have “beach music” out there
but.
I got your cd and sent it to my parents and they love it too! That’s
really weird because we never agree on music! They think ECU must
be making be more rounded! Anyway, I will be sure and see you again
in April whn you are here again.

Eileen and I decided we wanted to have a huge blow-out party for my
50th birthday this year. One of the cornerstones of our planning was
to have the Craig Woolard Band perform. We couldn't have made a better
decision.
The CWB was incredible! Many of the people attending
the party had not even heard of "Carolina Beach Music" before.
Well, by the end of the evening, they were all Beach Music fans! Craig
and his comrades are the epitome of music professionals. Throughout
the evening Craig helped coordinate the success of our event. Without
hesitation he agreed to adjustments in their show and even shared
the stage to accommodate several scenarios which were interesting
only to our attendees. As Carolina Beach Music's foremost
showman, Craig pulled it all off as if it were rehearsed for weeks.
Craig's special impromptu tribute to my ailing mother will be
fondly remembered by all who attended.
If you want yours to be the most memorable event
possible, you must have the CWB as your entertainment.

Thank you Craig for the OUTSTANDING job you did for our fundraiser for William.
We could not have done this without you. Thanks to you and all the people who so generously contributed, we raised over $50,000.00 for William and his family. And the pledges are still coming in.
When we told people who the band was, they all eagerly said “sign me up”!
We could not have picked a better band.
Thank you so much.

Craig,
Just wanted to personally say “Thank You” so much for last Thursday night at our Annual Chamber Membership Drive. When this particular Chamber committee met back in October….I threw out the idea of having a band. Other bands were mentioned….but we were adamant that you were the one. I have been the chairperson for this particular committee for 2 years now….we increased our numbers last year by doubling. I was told that this year was the largest crowd ever !!!. I have no doubt that it was all because of you and your band.
They Lord blessed you with a gift that so many would kill for. You have taken that gift and changed so many lives…..and continue to touch hearts of so many everyday.

especially after they realized that you all weren't going "funky" on
them.
I will be back in touch to book you again next year.
Thanks, again,

Debbie & Craig- I am looking for a good band ( MY daughter saw them last night in Chapel Hill at a Dance Marathon thing and really recommended them highly) for an "after-rehearsal dinner" party on in Charleston, SC at the Yacht Club. My son is getting married on the 21st. We are hosting the rehearsal dinner at The Yacht Club and then we are HOPING/PLANNING on some people to throw a party After the dinner.
Are you available?

Thanks for the memories!

Craig & Debbie, Thank you so very much for the kindness and caring that you both showed during the death of Jane, It is a terrible thing to lose our friend, and she was sick for only 5 weeks. Her sickness was traumatic, I have never seen some one that daily you saw changes. Your singing at her funeral was the best thing that could have happened. I know it is what she would have wanted, and it really helped the family. She loved you and your music, and was one of your biggest fans.
But, this old man got a compliment, it was so funny, We were at the house and I was in the kitchen then had to run to the store. This lady told Jay that it was so nice of Craig to come to the house, he told her he had to leave immediately for a show that night, she said “I saw him in front of the refrigerator just a few minutes ago.” Well when I got back she came up to me and said that she wanted to tell me that I sounded like a angel singing at the funeral. I got so tickled, and I told her I appreciate the gratitude and the compliment, but I am a funeral director, not Craig. Did Jay ever hee haw, he told her that this is the guy you thought was Craig? He really needed that laugh. Poor thing must have been blind.
Can’t wait to see you at 2001!
Thank you so much for caring, and to do such a nice thing for a fan.

Thanks for a great vacation!

First I will say that I just got back from "THE CRUISE" (2008 CWB WAVES CRUISE with 94.9 The Surf and Fat Harold) and that was absolutely positively the best damn time we have had EVER!!!!!!!!!!! We didn't know anyone that was going when we booked this cruise. Met a lot of people that we will very well be friends with for a long time.
THANKS AGAIN for the GREAT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We attended 21st birthday party this weekend. You are absolutely the greatest!
I don’t know when I have had a better time. Your music is incredible and you are without a doubt the best entertainer/singer I have ever heard.
Now, my daughter wants a birthday party!!! I think it is so great that both the parents and the kids love you and your music.
We LOVE your CD too!!

Hey Craig!
What a good show (as usual) that ya’ll gave us at Thirsty’s on Friday night. Thanks again for singing ”Faithfully”!! I have never heard anyone do that song justice as much so as you!
I told my husband that I hoped ya’ll would to “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas”!! I love it!! Have a nice day!!

Craig,
I just wanted to thank you and the CWB again for performing at my birthday party last Saturday night. You guys were just terrific! There was no way it could have been better because you made it so very personal and special. Many of our guests had never heard of the CWB because they do not follow beach music but you have definitely made believers out of them. We look forward to seeing you again soon and enjoy that Sam West chocolate! Don’t forget about the Cosmos!
Take care and keep making waves (love your new CD!!).

I'm not sure how else to describe it. What a party we had on Saturday night! All of the guests were raving about the entire event. No doubt there are a few more CWB fans as a result of the performance. You guys were awesome!! (No surprise there.)
You have certainly won over our New York friends.
Craig you and Debbie have been tremendous to work with and extremely supportive helping us work though the details and last minute complications. Thank you both so much!!!
I will also prepare a testimonial for you to consider for your web page.
Just curious, what did you think about the signing Beth performed? I think the crowd loved it.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Many thanks for your support during our fund-raising endeavors at the

We were at Thirsty’s Friday night and had one of the best times
there ever. We have hard a lot about your band, but had not had the
pleasure of seeing you until then,
What a show! And that drummer….! Awesome. You and he need to
be national!
We will be looking for your name in Vegas! You are an incredible performer
and singer.
We will certainly make a point to come see you again whenever we can.
In fact, my niece is getting married next fall. She needs to have
yo at her wedding. I told her about you today, and she said she had
already called you but you were booked on her date. They are trying
to have you for the rehearsal dinner since they can’t have you
for the reception. I hope that works out so we can see you again.
I know she was very disappointed, and even tried to change the date,
but could not find a date that you and her location had the same date
open. She threatened to delay the wedding if she couldn’t have
Craig Woolard there! I think she saw you at another wedding and was
so impressed, she said she HAD to have you!! We will keep our fingers
crossed!
Thanks
for a fun night!

We came to see you at Steve Hardy’s party with about 20 of our
co-workers. Man, what a show! You were without a doubt the very best
band there. We ended up leaving right after you finished – no
one could possibly follow that! We thought you were playing last,
and almost missed you. Thank goodness we decided to come a little
earlier!
I am glad you played at the time you did. We all had to be at work
the next day, and with so many of us, there was no way top call in

Your appearance last night at Dynamites with Coastline was INCREDIBLE!!
You are AWESOME! You and Jim together was not only INSANELY GREAT,
but hilarious at the same time. You BOTH deserve ENTERTAINER OF THE

I am a HUGE Coastline fan, but you took that show to a whole new level.

We cannot express the gratitude we have for you and your band. The
music brings happiness to us as a couple every time we come to watch
you or just listen to you guys in our car. You have heard this a couple
of times, but you have asked me to write and tell you our story, so
here it goes.
A year ago last Oct. our oldest son, then 18 and starting college
at UNC Chapel Hill was diagnosed with a brain tumor. When Chase (our
son) and I had to leave for a couple of months for Houston Texas in
order for him to receive the best radiation treatment, my husband
listened to your songs a lot. Upon my return, he told me that the
particular song, "Love don't get no stronger" was the one
that was special to him and thus became "our Song" :-) Since
that time, we have seen you guys in Myrtle Beach, Carolina Beach,
Downtown Greensboro for the Thursday beach music day and at Thirsty's
in Greensboro. We have passed your music along to many who are now
enjoying it as well. Each time we have the time of our lives watching
you guys have so much fun while entertaining us. What a treat!
My husband first got to know you guys with a friend of his that loved
your band as well. Unfortunately that friend is no longer with us.
He died last summer of cancer, but at his viewing the wife had your
first CD playing behind the casket. That is what he wanted and so
that is what he got, certainly no one complained.
Thanks for sharing your music with us and so many others. There are
probably others who get to see you more often at lots of other places,
but believe me, every time we have the chance we go.
Thanks
for being so inspirational,
Judith and Buddy

We saw your show at The Lighthouse last Thursday. All I can say is
Awesome!
Awesome, and Awesome! You are a great singer, and we loved the show!
Great party! I hope they do it again next year! Some of my friends
had to leave early and missed you, and they were so disappointed.
They had called and thought you played first. But I told them how
great it was! We will see you again this Thursday at Steve Hardy’s
party. They won’t miss it next time.

Craig,
Just a quick note of thanks to you and the CWB for all you've done
for the Beach Music Community, charties and fans. Make no mistake
you guys have made a difference!
I also wanted to take a minute and wish the CWB and families a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'm predicting that 2008 will be the
best ever for you and the guys.
Look forward to seeing guys in the not so distant future.
Happy Holidays.

Kay and I just returned from cleaning the Elk’s Hall after the
party last night. I got the word that we not only knocked a home run
at the gate (ticket sales), but for those still standing at the end.
a huge bar bill was generated as well (which was added to the money
we were raising).
I really want you to tell the guys that due to your performance, we
took in enough for not 8 but 12 families to provide Christmas gifts.
The Helping Hands program of feeding the homeless grew enough to be
funded thru Summer 08!!! We also had an anonymous giver, who was so
moved by the music and reasoning for the gathering, left a check for
$650 additional for the hard luck folks. You certainly did your job
in providing us a heck of a party and the emphasis to people to help
others.
Amazing results.
Thank
you for your talent and your efforts in making this fundraiser such
as success.

How perfect was that night? Everything I had hoped to accomplish in
raising funds for the needy, covering your expenses, and getting the
CWB music in front of some decision makers was 100% done. Kay’s
crazies came over for the night, stayed up until 3 AM talking about
the music, eating Dewey’ coffee cakes, and planning to do it
all over again on New Year’s Eve…….then got up at
8:30 AM to start cooking liver mush, eggs, grits, Bojangles biscuits,
…you got the picture.
The night was spectacular to say the least. Everybody went out of
their way to make sure your guys were taken care of and the boys responded
with lots of interaction. I could not have been more surprised by
all the birthday hoopla and fun with you on stage. I do that at the
Dance Club, introducing the bands with a little past history, but
never get involved with my own family tree. You and Kay got me on
the Irish-Lebanese stuff!
I have already received about a dozen e-mails this morning concerning
what it would take to get you guys back to the Elk’s, back for
the Dance Club, around here for Alive after Five, what date the BC

Best holidays to all. Prepare for another challenging year in 2008,

I attended the party in Atlanta, and I must say, this was by far the
BEST party we have ever had. We have almost always had a DJ, and although
we LOVE our DeeJees, it was refreshing to have live music. And it
sure does not get any better than The Craig Woolard Band! Your sound,
your voice, and your stage presence are not only entertaining, but
a class act!
Thank
you for making our party such a success! You have my vote to come
back next year if you will!

Saw you guys for the first time at Dynmaites – man – it
WAS DYNAMITE!
LOVE THE BAND and THE CLUB! The food was pretty darn good too.
We love your music and your showmanship – WOW!
We are from Ohio, and this was our first time visiting Myrtle Beach.
We were here for a wedding, and decided to stay a few days since it
was such a long trip.
We will definitely be back this summer!
We bought your CD, and honestly, we listened to it the whole drive
home.
Now when we hear it, we will have great memories of our first trip
to the SC coast.
I would like to order a few more Cds for gifts. How can I get them?
Thanks
again!

Craig and The Craig Woolard Band,
Thank
you for your major part in making Beth and Daniel’s wedding
reception a wonderful memory. I’ve received numerous cards and
calls from guests telling me it was a fabulous party and the band
was fantastic. Your talent, great music, and interaction made it fun
for all and an evening we will never forget!
Thank

Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
THANK

Just
a note to say I saw you guys the weekend of beach music awards. You
guys were awesome at Dynamites Friday afternoon. Also, I enjoyed the
songs you did at the Alabama theatre. Craig you did a super job on
the song “Tear In Your Eye”.
The new member that you added is great. I like the song he sings Money
Honey.

I just want to thank you for allowing me to get on stage with you
again....I am one of those guys that wishes he had listened to his
parents and taken some lessons ( guitar or piano ), and not focused
solely on sports....but I didn't, so being able to get up and sing
with your band this summer at HOTOS was really cool and again on Sunday
was a huge thrill for me.
Thanks for all you do...your entertaining style is truly one of a
kind....I could see the "pride on your face" while your
son sang Sunday night. That must be a dream come true for both of
you!
Get some rest...

Hi Craig, I just got done listening to your new CD...I love it! Congratulations,
it's a good piece of work. I dig your take on River of love and the
Marvin Gay tune. Did you write the tune that has the Archie bell reference?
Anyway good stuff. I will see you at the CBMA awards.

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much I enjoyed
the CWB at the Topsail Island Fall Festival last weekend (21Oct07).
It was my first time ever hearing the band live. They were awesome!
Craig is such a talented singer, dancer, and entertainer. All the
instrumentalists are great! Your son has certainly inherited the family
talent and I know you are very proud of him. I love his song, "Save
Room for My Love", on the new CD. Yes, I bought the new CD at
the show and have listened to it many times each day and night since.
The band did a song that Sunday at Topsail that I really liked, "Meet
Me with Your Black Drawers On". What CD is that on? I would like
to buy it also.
I will be going with two of my sisters and their husbands to the Myrtle
Beach Cammy Award weekend. We just called this week to extend our
stay another night so we could see The CWB at the Spanish Gallion
that Sunday night, 11 Nov.

Andy King is a great addition to the band -- he has a wonderful voice
and I loved the fact that he is so animated on stage. We bought your
new CD and have really enjoyed listening to it. Looking forward to
your next show in this area!

BOY, the CWB sure is a B U S Y band. When do you guys ever sleep,
rest and spend time with your family?
Saw you at Fat Harold's at NMB Sunday a week ago and saw you at Holly
Springs this past Sunday! Both performances were awesome! Tears came
when you and your daughter sang Love Don't Come No Stronger. Bought
your new CD at Holly Springs. It is new, different - the more you
listen to it the more it grows on you. My favorite songs are I Can't
Dance, Hopelessly In Love and Come Get To This. I already have the
your other 2 CD's.
Hope you guys do get some R&R this week.
Keep "Those Waves Coming",

I have ever seen. You made the party a party! Best wedding I have
ever been to. No plans to get married anytime soon, but if I ever
do – The CWB is MINE!
You brought back memories of college days at UNC. It’s only
been a few years, I had forgotten how much fun we used to have in
school! You guys are even better than when you played for our frat
house, and I thought you were awesome then!
Love the new songs! I will need to buy another CD – my date

Catch you next time you are in Greenville.

Craig! Your new CD is even better than the first one but in a different
way. Wow. I have gotten so spoiled by the first one, I didn't think
anything could be better,,... but it is! It is so well put together,
fresh, and big band and horn sounding. Your new band members really
gel well together. And, to add both Carly and Craig Michael.. is a
fresh touch. There are going to be many nominations for the Cammy's
from this CD. I know you're proud and you should be ! You just keep
getting better.

Craig,
Fun Monday, WHOW!! What a performance! It doesn't get any better than
this. Your Birthday, what a way to bring the house down!! The new
C-D is great, however, your compliments to your associates is unparalleled,
as you understand the TEAM (Together Everyone Accomplishes More) concept.
Congratulations on all of your and the group accomplishments. Rose
and I hated we had to miss the third anniversary party tonight, to
many conflicts, however, I have a feeling we will be seeing each other
again, not soon enough however. We hope to be in town next weekend
and will get to see all of you.
Say hello to Debbie, CJ and Carley, We can not wait until January

always welcome.
We will talk soon.

I just wanted to let you know the new CD "Come Get to This"
is great! We bought two CDs (one for Kimberly and one for us) at Fat
Harolds during SOS. For me, it's difficult to pick a favorite song
as there are so many! I believe River of Love and Money Honey will
be definite #1 hits. Of course, can't forget about Craig Jr's song
either! Since buying the CD I have listened to it every day. You're
a fantastic band and I always enjoy coming out to see you.

You're welcome. Thank for you producing such great music! You helped
steer
Kimberly in the right direction - Frank and I have listened to beach
music for
years...but once she heard you she took notice! If I remember correctly
you
did River of Love on Fun Monday, and yes it was awesome!
I know you're very proud of Craig Jr - he is a very special young
man.
I will give Kimberly your message...I know she loves you'all too.

Craig Woolard has been making music since the age of 14. To say he
is a legend in this industry is an understatement. And now, with his
new band,, The Craig Woolard Band is one of the most sought
after bands in the business. The Craig Woolard Band is a high energy
show band, representing the best in entertainment. From the moment
they hit the stage, until the very last song, they make you want to
dance and have a good time. If you have ever had the pleasure of attending
a performance by this band, then you know – you’ve gotta
love these guys! From a fan's perspective, no band in the business
works harder to please their audience. I stand in awe of this man
and his band – we continue to witness the on going evolution
of an amazingly talented group of musicians. The yellow butterflies
still surround them. In just 3 short years, The CWB has reached plateaus
that even amaze them! Craig has won more accolades that any entertainer
in the Carolinas. And when we think they couldn’t get any better,
they reward us with a new
CD that will knock your socks off (but not your shag shoes I hope!).
Their first CD, “MAKING WAVES”, took the industry by storm.
“COME GET TO THIS”, I am sure, will be no exception. The
song selections are masterful. You want to dance from the very first
song. The soul that pours out of this band is phenomenal. Their showmanship
is unsurpassed. They always leave the audience asking for more. Keep
watching people - The Craig Woolard Band is the REAL THING! If you
want to treat yourself, look no further - You NEED this new CD! ‘COME
GET TO THIS!

Lordy, Kay has listened to that CD non-stop since it arrived this
morning from Judys! I am not going to get any work out of her at the
Market over the next two weeks while she plays that collection on
the laptop for hours on end. I can tell you one thing, she may be
ready to join your backup gals at HOTO’S next month when we
are down since she may know every word, including CJ’s hit which
is being worn out from play time….
Congrats on another killer work from the heart.

Well you guys surely exceeded our expectations. Jim and I had said
we
needed to catch your show somewhere, but...He would have been very
impressed just as I was. You have surely become a consummate entertainer
and musician. your ability to gather fine musicians around you is
further
proof of that.
I am very late in saying thank you. I was honored that you would ask
me to
sit in and trust me to not embarrass the CWB. I laugh as I think of
the
nerves that took over, but we made it thanks to CWB professionalism.
It is
hard to put into words, but you guys are so good and so well known...well,
I just want to thank you again. It really elevated my spirits, which
are
pretty high most of the time anyway! It was really a tribute to Jim.
If it
weren't for him I would not have attained what little musicianship
I may
be able to claim. I am sure none of this really makes sense, or clearly
expresses what I am trying to express, so enough...
I hope to see you guys again somewhere.
Take care. I trust that all is well with you and your loved ones.
Oh, and I enjoyed the website!

The band was fantastic Saturday at the ECU Pirate Beach Blast. YOU
were the reason we came! The new horn section is AWESOME!!!! You guys
only get better! You own that stage! I know we surprised you by going
to your next gig in Fayetteville, but we wanted to see more of The
CWB! It is unbelievable that you did 3 jobs that day. I can’t
speak for the first one, but you kicked butt at both shows I saw!
Don’t know how you do it. Can’t wait to get the new CD.
If is it half as good as Making Waves, then you have a winner for
sure. We wore it out on the way to Fayetteville. Looking forward to
the next time! We will catch you at City Bistro for sure.

I don't want to take anything away from the band 'cause you guys are

Hi Craig & Debbie-
Wow!
You guys were amazing! As exhausted as I was, I thoroughly enjoyed
your performance - it was the highlight of the Convention! I hope
we'll be able to book you for another Convention soon.
We have

Thanks

going to be back in Myrtle Beach (for relaxation this time) and I

you'll be playing on Sunday, August 12. If so, I'll see you there.

The Craig Woolard Band is by far THE BEST BAND EVER!! What energy,
and I love the music. The band is very tight, and appears eager to
follow your lead. I have a musical background in that I was a band
director for years, so I can appreciate a good leader. I cannot remember
when I enjoyed myself so much. Your act is fresh and clean, and you
are a true professional. Kudos to all your efforts. You deserve all
the awards and successes that I know are coming your way.
Enjoyed your website – very informative. You seem like a real,

Craig and Debbie,
Thank you so much for helping to make our event a success. I honestly
believe we had the best band anyone could ever have on stage. I heard
nothing but great comments about your group and we will definitely
want you back again. Give me a little time to get things worked out
and we'll talk. We may be adding a Friday night concert for next year
also but there are lots of details to work out. I feel like we've
known you guys forever and I will always be beholding to Brenda for
introducing us. Good friends are always a blessing from God.
Take
care and I'm sure we'll be in touch so kinda keep the last of July
ready! Our last meeting to finalize everything won't take place until
the middle of August then we can talk.. Good luck on the rest of the
year's concerts. And thank you so much for the GREAT show!

I certainly want to thank all of you for making it the most memorable
party that I have ever put together and by no stretch of the imagination,
it was the best BIRTHDAY PARTY I have ever had. And certainly the
largest. To those of you who bought tickets for the door prizes and
the money has gone to Camp Kemo, that amounted to $191.00. Thank you
again for that. I am considering already doing one for next year.
Thanks again,

Thank you for your patience during a sticky/wet situation on Friday.
The overwhelming attendance at The Sounds of Summer Concert - after
a one hour-fifteen minute delay for the rain, is an attribute to how
great and fantastic the Craig Woolard Band is. Your willingness to

Thanks

Mr. Woolard,

the band that I forgot until it was too late. Please let me know how
much they are and what I need to do about payment. Thanks.

What a great show. I wanted to let you know a lot of people told me

Craig,
Whether you know this or not your spirit and energy is what makes
this world go around. I was dancing with a friends mother who has
dementia..but what was neat was the youth at the concert. True family
fun.
I was booking the Embers back in the late 70's for frat parties and
fund raisers at HAPPY APPY...now ASU. since we have won 2 national
championships in football.
There is a true spirit and energy about this music and I am grateful
that you keep this tradition alive.
The neat thing about Party in the Park..used to be Valley Pointe is
the sense of family. So many of my friends bring the children to this
venue.
You have always been cognizant of this and we are grateful for you
vision and talent.
GOD BLESS YOU AND THANKS. YOUR MUSIC IS INCREDIBLE.

Craig, I swear everytime I see guys it's better than the last. Wow
what a show, Kim and Cj did great, as guest singers, And Andy......what's
not to like, smooooth.
I wanted
to thanks for your offer on the replacement CD from my daughter's
wedding, I've already taken care of that, but know that the Making
Waves CD was played twice at the reception,
and the place was rocking. I sure the DJ looked at it as welcomed
addition to is play list.
You said
CJ's and possibly another song is on it's way, and YES I would like
a cd of that when available.
I did have a chance to speak with CJ at the end of the night... told
him what a great job he did, a fine youngman ......All in all a great
nite. Hope to see you guys soon.

I want to thank you for your hard work entertaining the beach music
folks. I loved hearing you when you with the Embers (which you made
the band) and now with your own band. You seem to genuinely enjoy
your work and making all of us feel good listening to you.
I was at the Mebane show tonight; you and your band gave an outstanding
performance. Beach music is truly the best music and I really love
it. I hope it will endure time and be bigger still in the days to
come. I hope you and your lovely wife will have many more "Happy
Anniversaries" together.
Once again, thank you for a fantastic show tonight and come back soon.

It was great to work with you. You guys have an amazing sound, the
crowd loved you and you were incredibly flexible and easy to work
with. What are you doing next year?
We haven't
yet talked about plans for next year’s festival, but you're
my top pick. I'll keep you posted as plans unfold.

Just wanted to thank you for the visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert.
Kim Williams is a good friend of mine and she told me you were asked
to play
because of my request. I'm not sure about that, but I did in fact
tell her
last summer that she needed to get CWB to play at Plaza Jam. Last
night I
asked her if she would try to schedule you next summer and she said
that she
would. I hope that will work in your schedule. I'm originally from
Snow
Hill and fondly remember listening to Steve Hardy's Beach Party. That
must
have been in the mid to late 70's. Now it's Big Wave 77 and Gary Smith
or
94.9 The Surf when in Cherry Grove. Thanks for all that you do to
promote a
truly outstand genre of music. Go CWB!!! The only reason I don't have
satellite radio is because there's no beach music station. Thanks
again for
the great music.

So good to see you at CB-Beach Music festival. Disappointed with the
rain but at least it held off 'til your band could perform a few songs.
Great to have a minute with you & Debbie. Take care and looking
forward to the next "Craig Wooland fix"!!!

I hear we won't have to travel so far to see you this time as you
are coming to Creek Ratz June 24. It's about time you came north and
what perfect timing. It's the day of our 35th wedding anniversary.
I'll make our day celebrating while listening to our favorite band.
I guess you planned it that way for us... yeh right! Anyway, we're
looking forward to seeing you for the 6th time this year. Please dedicate
….Dixie Moon, and if possible 'Love Don't Come No Stronger'
to my wife Pat... my English Rose. Thanx for all you do for Beach
Music.
PS. Do
you have a web link to ALL ABOUT TRAVEL so we can sign up for the
cruise?

Your band sounded great last night in Petersburg. We noticed you are
doing a lot of new material. When are you coming out with a new CD?
We’ll see you in Richmond June 3 with Ron Moody.

On April 21 you played for our daughter's wedding which included the
special "She's the Most Expensive Girl in the World."
Debbie was SO easy to work with. So professional, so sweet, -- even
very attractive!! Craig, you won the lottery!
I should be shot for this delay - I spent way too much on the flowers,
the caterer, etc, etc, etc. I've received compliments on the flowers,
kudos on the food, pat on the back for many things. But the band?
I DO have a complaint….. I'm almost worn out from people saying
it's the best wedding they ever went to. The most fun they have had
in years. The greatest variety of music. The band was FANTASTIC! The
stellar miracle of my 70+ year old parents on the dance floor with
20 somethings. Blah, blah, blah. It's all grins and giggles.
Now,
as a result of your efforts, when the second daughter gets married
I'll have one heck of a standard to live up to. The flowers, the food
and, yes, the band. So, keep a bottle of Geritol, an oxygen tank,
and some nitro tablets nearby. If she ever walks the aisle, you must
be ready.
I saw a fellow yesterday that has friends that were disappointed they
couldn't schedule the XXXXXXXXXX (band). My friend advised them it
was the best thing that ever happened to them. He said they should
call you!
A month
and I still haven't heard the end of it!!
If ANYONE needs a recommendation, give them my numbers. All my numbers.
Especially Clayton and Johnston County. I know almost everybody down
here. And I can loan them some money we didn't toss.

CWB was great yesterday!!!
This was our most successful event - we served 882 plates and raised
$6000.00 to be donated to various organizations to assist people with
sight and hearing disabilities.
For 2008 I would like for you to put us down again.
I also would like for CWB to play for a private party of mine from
about 9:30 till 12:30; locations are about 5 miles apart.
We are planning to go to Petersburg Va on May 24 to see CWB and June
2 at Carolina Beach.
Thanks again and looking forward to seeing CWB in 3 weeks.

Hey Craig and Family,
Just a note to thank you for all you do.
I moved to FL 2 years ago from Sunset Beach. Don’t know why
I did it (the grass looks greener, I guess) and I will be moving back
before long. During the 2 years I have continually kept up with you
and listened to 94.9 online. I’ve also followed you for YEARS
with the Embers. That takes us back to the 70s, I think!
I was up at Myrtle Beach and got to see you at Harold’s on the
Ocean a few weeks ago for Easter. What a treat!!
So this note is just to thank you for all you do and to wish you continued
success. You’ve been working like crazy to get everything going
and I really admire that. If I have an opportunity to book you anytime,
I’ll surely do it.
Thanks, Craig, and to the whole band for the music you bring to my
heart!
My best to you all,

My Cousin was the Promoter and is now one of the Managers for The

I had a great time & you have assembled a fantastic group of musicians
who made it easy for me to fit in, and made me feel welcome. BTW,
my wife happened to be watching Channel 2 news at 6 pm, and they had
live coverage of the event and saw the band on TV briefly.
Craig, you really set the standard for beach music – I’ve
haven’t heard anybody that can sing/play/front as well as you
do.
Thanks & hope to see you around from time to time. Continued success!

Craig,
I would like to send a belated Happy Easter to the entire Woolard
family and band. I am doing well and have made some changes as to
where I am working now. I’m still running a company for Richard
Petty only in Charlotte so I don’t have to travel so far anymore.
The commute for the last seven years to Charlotte gets to you. I promise
I will come to one of your shows this summer and I will personally
come hug and kiss you as I miss you so much. Don’t think of
me as fresh - just miss your music and talent a lot.
I am watching where you are playing and think you are awesome to do
what you do for everyone. Your music is a gift from God that you share
and makes everyone feel good in life.
Look forward to seeing you this summer at a show and I will be ready
to kick back, relax and dance for sure.
Happy and successful shows to you and your band.

I always enjoy getting the updates each week, but taking the extra
time to share the true meaning below is just so awesome. This is probably
one of the biggest reasons I am a CWB groupie (and also because of
the awesome music/sound). You do not hesitate to share your belief
and your testimony is evident in your actions. It speaks volumes........
We look forward to seeing you again soon in the near future. Hello
to Debbie!

Craig Woolard Band - 2007 UNC Dance Marathon Testimonial
Thanks
in part to the generosity of the Craig Woolard Band over the past
two
years, the UNC Dance Marathon was able to raise over $200,000 for
the North
Carolina Children's Hospital in 2006 alone, and over $1 million since
its
conception in 1999. The Craig Woolard Band played their first Dance
Marathon Benefit Concert in January of 2006. The concert was a huge
hit
with students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,
and raised
a great deal of money for the N.C. Children's Hospital. The event
was such
a success that Craig and the band were able to return in both the
fall and
spring semesters of the following year. All money raised at Craig
Woolard
Band concerts benefiting the UNC Dance Marathon goes directly into
the For
the Kids Fund at the North Carolina Children's Hospital. This is a
unique
fund designed to assist patient and family needs that are not covered
by
insurance or Medicaid. The For the Kids Fund has purchased items such
as
phone cards, meal tickets, and Wal-Mart gift cards, and has also paid
electric bills and mortgage payments. Through its partnership with
the UNC
Dance Marathon, the Craig Woolard Band has impacted countless families
across North Carolina. We are so grateful for this assistance.

It was great seeing you both this past week in Myrtle Beach. There
is always a party where the CWB is playing! Can't wait to see you
in Raleigh, too.
I just have to write and congratulate all of you on Craig Jr.'s debut
at Fat Harold's. I am so glad that I was there to see it. He was absolutely
fabulous and must have set a fund raising record for a debuting artist!
Never seen so many dollar bills being thrown at a singer! Without
question, Craig Jr. will successfully follow his father's footsteps
and then he is going to be making a whole bunch of big ones on his
own! There is a new rising star in the world of beach music and his
name is Craig Michael Woolard, Jr.!!! You two must be about to explode
with pride and you should be! "Save Room" is one of my favorite
songs and now that I've seen and heard Craig Jr. sing it, there is
no doubt that he owns that one and whenever I hear it, will always
picture him singing it! Can't wait to get his recording of it! May
I get it autographed???
As always, The CWB delivers more sound, more soul and more fun per
minute than any other beach band! You had to have set a record on
Sunday with your extended set and the crowd knew it and loved it!
Obviously the encore of "Crazy" was just what the "Crazy"
crowd wanted to hear and you listen and respond to your crowd better
than anyone out there!
Thanks for all of the great music and the smiles that you give to
us beach music lovers!
One of your biggest fans,
Margaret
P.S.
Isn't it time for another CWB CD to add to the collection???

Hi Craig,
Greetings from Winston-Salem!
I spoke to you at Duck's after your performance at the DJ Throwdown.
I have my Bachelor and Masters in music (voice performance) from UNC-Chapel
Hill and I think your voice is one of the best I have ever heard.
Truly. You are gifted and I hope to hear you again in person. Are
you feeling better? You mentioned that you had been under the weather.
Being sick is tough, but being sick when you're a performer is even
tougher. :o) You may not have felt you were up to par, but your talent
was evident to all of us who were present that night.
I am relatively new to the shag world. I took lessons last summer
and I have been to a handful of events: Fall Cyclone, Electric Storm
and this coming weekend, I'll be attending the Augusta Classic. Although
my family was stationed in Myrtle Beach when my father was in the
Air Force (late 1960's), my first experience at Duck's and Fat Harold's
was this past New Year's. I tell all my friends I felt like Ellie
Mae Clampett - gone to New York City... ha. Me - dancing at OD! How
cool is that? ha
I work at RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company - doing mainframe computer work.
I do free-lance music work when time permits. I sing at weddings and
church and I love to accompany (piano). I play for private parties,
etc. I left RJR for three years and taught voice and beginning piano
at Centenary Music Academy and played piano on weekends at Paul's
Fine Italian Dining here in Winston-Salem. I loved the experience,
but RJR just offered me full-time work again and I took it - mainly
because of the benefits. Unfortunately - they are extremely important...
Well, I've made this e-mail too long, but I just wanted to say how
honored I was to meet you and I wish you continued success. I will
try to catch another CWB performance soon.
My best,
Joni Hanna

band.
Thanks
