TESTIMONIALS – WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE CRAIG WOOLARD BAND

4/18/10
Debbie:
Our night was magical.  I floated through the entire day.

Craig and the band were wonderful.  Everything they played was perfect, and the group LOVED them.  I know we were probably a
bit unusual but Craig rolled with it all, and made the evening the most wonderful we have ever had.  I am going to talk to Magnolia about their facilities, and the lack of continuity with arrangements, including the bands dressing room, and a room to secure their personal belongings, and also about the fact that they didn't have food ready for them when they arrived.  They are new at this andI don't think they quite had it all together... but it was beautiful, and perfect, and a cool, breezy evening.

Thanks so much for making this a perfect wedding for our daughter and all our friends.
I think it was the most special ever.    What great musicians and singers!  My husband was blown away, and if anyone in Charleston contacts you, please tell them we will be great references.

Warm regards,
Ann Maybank

I just wanted to thank you again for making our party last night SO much fun. All the sorority girls just loved it! Here is the picture we took at the end of the night that I told you I would send to you!

Craig,

RE: “I’M GONNA BE READY” - new Gospel release by Craig…

I don't know if Judy passed along my compliments, but I think this is my favorite vocal performance in a long, long time.  WOW!!  What a great energy!

Craig,

It was good seeing you again Sunday afternoon at Crossroads.  It seems like our paths keep crossing.  Thank you and Debbie for the MP3 file of “Love Don’t Come No Stronger”.  I look forward to playing it in my DJ business.  I’m also looking forward to playing a number of other songs from your Making Waves CD.  I told Debbie and you that my primary interest in buying the CD was to get the song “I’ve Got A Feeling” which has been one of my favorite songs that you sing.  I was also aware that several of your other popular songs (i.e. “Love Come Knockin’”, “Til the Day After” and “Don’t Stop”) were on the CD.  However, I was pleasantly surprised by your versions of “If There’s A Tear”, “I’ll Be Alright” and “One Drop of Love” (Ray would be proud of you!).  You and the band (and the backup singers) did a great job on all of your songs, and I look forward to playing them in my DJ business.

You mentioned that you will be playing this summer at some of the Beach areas.  We’ll be at our condo at Saint James some also, so perhaps we’ll see you somewhere on the coast this summer.  We’ll also look forward to seeing you later at the Club.
Thanks again to you and Debbie for your assistance.

Best regards,
Gary

We had the pleasure of seeing THE CWB at the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Norfolk last Saturday.
We had been waiting all this time to see the band, and were afraid that the rain was going to ruin everything! We would have been so disappointed!

Thank you for sticking it out in the cold rain! It was amazing how it did stop somewhat when you arrived! It was magic! And then when the show was over, it started pouring again! You must be big star to accomplish that!

That was the biggest crowd I have ever witnessed at our parade. I would say 500 on a sunny day is a good turnout. But there were over 4000 people at this year’s parade after party. I guess it must have been due to the entertainment, you think?!

Great show! I would have stood out there in the rain all day just to see you perform!
All the things people said about you and the CWB are true – and then some!

Can’t wait to see you back in Virginia Beach.

Your new fans!

The CWB Cruise is the best cruise you will ever go on!

Craig and the boys worked their butts off, and put on one hell of a show – every time!
I was very impressed, with the talent and the cruise ship. Saying with were with “The Band”, sure gave us some clout! I heard people talking that were not with our group – they were jealous!
At the deck party, somebody said, “It’s a bout time they got some good entertainment on this ship!” I agree. I was proud to say – that’s MY band!

If you want to have a fantastic time with great friends, you need to go on this cruise!
We didn’t really know anyone when you got on board, but by the 2nd day, we had met a lot of new friends. By the time we had to go home, I would say I had made 200 new friends. We plan to stay in touch with many, and are DEFINITELY going in 2011!
We are hooked!

If you are looking for a vacation, the CWB cruise is IT!

AS CRAIG SAYS, “I’d rather be cruisin’ with The Craig Woolard Band!”

See you next year. Charleston will be awesome!

Jackie

Debbie,

This message is two-fold: One to remind you to send my large, black, BEACH-A-HOLIC T shirt to… and two, to thank the CWB, Craig (especially for drawing Susie's name!), you, and everyone involved with the whole thing for showing Susie and me a FANTASTIC time on the cruise. We enjoyed ourselves IMMENSELY and certainly plan to make the Charleston cruise next year.

I haven't downloaded Maggie's pics yet for Keith, but just as soon as I do, I'll shoot them to you.

Thanks again, because I haven't said that I had a LARGE down-East NC time in a long time, but we surely had one last week!

NEW CD: MAIN STREET PEOPLE:
Kay has worn the ridges out on that thing ever since!  I even drove up from being on the road yesterday, arrived back
at 7 PM, and could hear it through the brick and windows all the way out on the driveway.

No More Cloudy Days, kind of our theme song right now!
Got to tell you, this CD is like one of those old Motown albums from the Temps, Tops, Supremes, or Smokey…..just one great song after another.
Kay is turning the house into Hickory’s Thirsty III.

Thanks so much for providing us with such happy tunes.

Craig,

Again a great show. I have heard a lot of compliments from people at the dance. At the end, you all were pulling in people from the party across the hall, including two of the servers and they were buying the CDs!
I was waiting to buy your new CD when you guys were there. It was worth the wait. Great job on it!

The one thing that is always mentioned by anyone that I have taken to see the band is how positive the whole performance is.
I think that says a lot for the guys and especially you.,

See you at the Beach

Craig,

Thanks to you and your band for providing such excellent, high energy music which made our Dinner Dance the best one so far!

Marvin, the Head of the wait staff at the hotel summed it up perfectly when he said at the end of the night "they are the best" and reinforced with " I have worked here for 9 years and they are the best I have ever heard" I had to say to him that he nailed it.

It was a fantastic dance and you and the band played the biggest part. Thanks for the positive attitude even when you were met with such a delay in setting up.

Thanks for everything and we look forward to the next time we hear you play.
 Thanks,
  Carol

Hey Craig -

Thanks again for a great CWB evening in Wilson. The band was terrific, and we all enjoyed ourselves!

It was fun to sit in with the band on Margaritaville and thanks for taking care of Lauren! That's me in the last photo with my hand on the bell - another lifetime ago I think...Hope all is well.

Johnny

Craig ... Grady received your newest CD - Main Street - and asked me to express his thanks to you. I would add my own Thank-you to that !

He does not have what I think is the last one with "The Coast Is Clear' [ which I think is a great and underplayed song] so if you're ok with it and send it he will play it. He will be playing a number of the newest ones tonight he said.

If you are around this evening and want to call him I'm sure he would promote whatever you have going on.

BTW, I think the cover on your newest one is really cool-it's OD ,it's the beach. and top beach band collectively displayed on a CD jacket -someone did a very good creative job!

2/4/10
Gary and I had such a great time meeting new people, visiting with old friends and loving CWB music!!  We definitely are planning on cruising again next January.  See y'all around NMB and when you perform in OIB this summer!

Craig, thanks for a GREAT vacation!  It was good to get to know you, your band, your wonderful wife, Debbie, and everyone else.  No doubt Debbie has been a real "trooper" sticking with you through thick and thin.

As you requested, attached is a pic where we posed with Archie.  I see Archie as like seasoning on food; a little Archie in the show adds a little additional positive energy to an already great show without overshadowing your theme.

We'll be seeing you soon as the party animals of the 70's party on!

4TH ANNUAL MAKING WAVES CRUISE with THE CRAIG WOOLARD BAND was AWESOME!
Can’t wait for 2011!

Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We had a great time and enjoyed your music!
You guys did an outstanding job. The ship was great, the food was great, the entertainment was GREAT. But the best part was the many new friends we made.

Looking forward to seeing you more in 2010!

Dear Craig,

I cannot thank you enough for your support of the UNC Marathon through our annual Craig Woolard Band Nights! The event was such a success, and I know everyone in attendance had a wonderful time. It is so rewarding to see the Chapel Hill campus and surrounding community come together in support of such a great cause. I have a thank you note written for you, and was wondering where you would like me to address it? I cannot express enough how happy I am that the night went so well, and I hope you felt the same!

Looking forward to next year!

Wow!! Craig that was beautiful..I just wanted you to know that I miss Beach Music so very bad! Here I am in Nebraska, and people here just don't know what good ol' beach music is...Sure, I have all of my CD's but I miss seeing all of you guys performing. You probably don't even remember me, but I was raised in Raleigh, and lived in N.Myrtle Beach, so I saw you guys all the time at the Holiday Inn North, 2001, Fat Harolds, the list goes on and on and on. I tried to get to the Beach Music Awards every year, but, time goes forward and our lives seem to take different routes, but one thing is for sure, You have the most beautiful soul, and YOU are one of the reasons that Beach Music is what it is today! I know that we have lost a few of our Beach Music icons, but once again YOU have kept the sun shining, the sand in our shoes, and most of all the Heart in Beach Music!  Just keep on keepin' on and keep being the wonderful man, husband, father, and friend and most of all "Entertainer" that you are. When I'm back down South, I hope to see all of you.
Your fan always,
Judy

if you will remember us, but we got married in Pinehurst on May 9th. I've watched the wedding video a million times at this point and each time I'm just overwhelmed by how wonderful you all were to have as our band. One of my best friends is getting married this May and I think y'all are performing at her reception too! I just can't wait to experience a fun party like that again. We've heard from multiple people that we had the funnest wedding they'd ever been to. I know that is because of you all making our reception so much FUN! I haven't let you know, but I appreciate all the hard work you did- learning the ray charles and stevie wonder songs for us (both amazing renditions, by the way) and I also know that Craig was sick the week before and still performed it. We were blessed by your being a part of our day!

Hope this finds you both well. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Have a great day!

Craig & Debbie,

I just wanted to write and tell you how much I love and enjoy your beach music. I was a Police Officer in Washington NC,,and looked forward to the summer festival every year because of the Embers were going to be there. I knew Craig's Dad when I worked there. But the reason I am writing is to find out where I can purchase your CD's. My wife has an incurable lung disease and is in a nursing home here in Wilmington NC and with her being 45 yrs old and her health in such bad shape I am unable to go see your concerts. due to me being power of attorney and having to make medical decisions. I often sit here and listen to the MP 3 samples on your homepage. anyway, any information as to where I can get the CD's would greatly be appreciated. keep up the good music.

Thank you so much. I loaded it into automation for over night and bumped the
rotation up so the entire album plays each night. I also put the CD in
the control room and told each DJ to make sure to include cuts on their shows.
So far they keep going back and doing more than one cut per show. I am
hearing great things from all my staff - “I Love the Album”. I thought it was cool to do the
James Otto " Just got Started Loving you"and Hound Dog.

Craig makes it hard to pick a favorite cause they are all great but if I had to
pick one I'd say "A Soulful Kind of Love"
I love the tower of power horn sound in that one.

My guess is the entire album will be the buzz all year long.

Tell Craig to keep up the fantastic work and the
legacy will continue with Craig Micheal – “FAREWELL MY SUMMER LOVE”..
He is gonna be great (Just like Dad).

God made some to love music, some to live music, and a select few to do both.
I thank god for CWB.

Got your new CD at Christmas and it is great….Charlie Brown also loves it. The Cammy Awards were wonderful, what a honor you had for playing with Chuck Jackson…He certainly was a high light of the week-end….Do you know if he does any tours during the year?

Just wanted to say hello and that CWB was AWESOME last weekend at the CBMA's both backing up Chuck Jackson (you lucky dawgs) and at the after party. I just finished recording my radio show for next weekend.

I am featuring Main Street People and will be playing these tracks:

Beachaholic

Just Got Started Loving You

Impossible

Thank You Pretty Baby

I'm In Love With The Girl Next Door (this is better than Rue Davis' version by far)

Main Street People (always loved this song)

Hound Dog

Somewhere, Somebody

Farewell My Summer Love

I usually just feature 4-5 cuts from a new CD per show, but I am 100% honest & sincere when I say that in my opinion, there are no "album cuts" on this project. I'll eventually play all cuts on my show. GREAT JOB!!!

Dear Craig,

First of all, the CWB is my all time favorite beach music band. In fact, at the Cammy's this past weekend on Sunday night when my friends were in the Spanish Galleon at the Coastline after-party, I was in the OD Beach Club with the CWB. Y'all are absolutely awesome!!

While at the Cammy's, I also bought "Main Street People" and will probably wear it out soon. I just can't seem to take it out of the cd player. One of my friends and I are having a friendly discussion about the vocals on one of the songs on "Main Street People" and your answer will help greatly. Who does the vocals on "Just Got Started Lovin' You"? I know you did this song at the after party and at 2001 so I should know the answer but I'm just not sure.

Keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep showing up and buying cd's. Y'all are the greatest.

What a wonderful time we had this past week-end.  We attended all events and enjoyed each one of them….This will certainly be an annual trip for us from now on.  We spoke with you on Friday after you and the CWB band practiced with Chuck Jackson and we even got to meet him.  I cannot express in words what the performance on Sunday afternoon meant to Darrell and me.  We grew up listening to Chuck Jackson’s music and it was a dream come true for us to see him in person……What a honor for you and your band to be apart of that special moment.  Look forward as always seeing you again…By the way Charlie Brown was right the new CD is WONDERFUL……

I hope this email finds you well.  I recently got engaged and that next weekend heard you play at my cousin Jon Michael’s… wedding.  Y'all were outstanding!  My fiancé and I were both very impressed and interested in learning more information about your band and possibly having you play at our wedding.  We are getting married… 2010 with the reception at the Dunes Club here in Atlantic Beach.  If you wouldn't mind sending me some information on the band and whether or not you are even available that date , I would greatly appreciate it.

Again I cannot tell you how impressed we were with you at Jon Michael and Lindsey's wedding, and I look forward to hopefully working with you in the near future.

I just want to say one more time, THANK YOU SO MUCH for Friday night, it was a huge success in every way.  I know my Dad would have had a great time and we will be able to donate around $2,500.00 to Hospice.

Biggest party we have had at the country club in I don't know the day when...everyone wants to get Craig and the boys back, I'm gong to work on that.

I hope we took care of all of CWB's needs.

Again thanks and look forward to doing it again.

Wow!!!  Every song that I've heard it is great.  I think it's better than anything the Embers did and better than your previous albums.  It's a great step up for the entire Beach Music industry.

That said, this is where your CD shines.  It's great from front to back and something you can be proud of.  It's something that will be listened to over and over in it's entirety and loved.

I think the lead vocals, backing vocals, guitar work and horns are all spot on.  You got a really good sound out of the studio.  Wish you could've gotten some sleep along the way.

You've truly got an album to be proud of. ..

Congratulations on a great project!

10/19/9 – RE: NEW CD: “MAIN STREET PEOPLE”;

Recordings sound great.  I love it…Very well integrated sound.

KH

10-17-9

Hey Craig,

I got “Main Street People” yesterday and it is GREAT!!  I think this is the best one yet you have recorded.  I really had a different perspective listening to “No More Cloudy Days”.  It made think of during my cancer treatments how I would think of happy memories in my life and that the sun would shine again.  As we know I am blessed that the sun is shining bright once again.

Send my congratulations to the rest of CWB on a super CD.

Take care,

Gary

10/7/9 – CRAIG PERFORMS WITH LONG BAY SYMPHONY! I just can't say enough how much we enjoyed your performance at the symphony on Sunday.  Your band is great, but what a great opportunity for a symphony back up!!!

We liked when the Stylistics played with them some years back, so it was nice to see another change to the symphony with beach music. Yes...they listened to recommendations!

Take care.  Keep on singin'!

Chris

10/8/9 Craig My wife and I saw you guys at HOTO's last week and picked up the new CD.  It's great, just like the others.  My wife commented she thought it was the best yet.  Listened to it all the way back to Richmond.  We love Beach-a-holic.  Made we want to turn around and head back to NMB.  Keep up the great work.   Bruce and Joan Haring

10/6/9 We have really fallen in love with the music of the CWB.  We will be seeing you guys next week at Chateau Morrisette, and it will be the fourth time this year (also Kings Mountain, Radford, and Hillsville).  I told my wife if she had made it to see you at Fat Harold's when she was at the Beach 3 weeks ago, you'd probably be filing a stalking restraining order against us.  I only have one complaint.  You guys never have a CD booth set up.  So I'm giving you one more chance next week to make your CDs available, and if you don't have any then, I guess I'll just have to break down and buy off the internet.  BTW, we have seen about 6 other bands this year, but the reason we like you guys so much is because you work so hard to make sure the audience is having a good time.  So many other bands seem to just get up there, play a mandatory number of songs in a set, take their breaks, and say goodbye.   You guys really work hard.  You  impressed me at Hillsville with the bad weather.  Most other bands would have packed it in, but you guys stuck with it though.  I started to pass you a note when you made the comment that you had good data that the Hurricane was going to miss us.  I was going to tell you that Hillsville was VA Tech territory, and home of Coach Frank Beamer, we are never afraid of "The Hurricanes."  I guess we showed that last week in Blacksburg.  Can't wait to see you. Jerry Haynes PS.  I promise you, no one can do the Electric Slide like my wife Judy.

10/2/9  It was really great seeing [hearing] you in Garner the other evening- just like Uncle Tubb, only different.  I can't believe it but that was the first time I have seen your new band.  VERY IMPRESSIVE  I did see David with the Band of Oz but I'll take your band over them.  I haven't gotten to hear Harvey [Irving] and Durwood's Dynamic Duo…

Johnny

10/1/9 Craig, been lovin the new cd.....thanks to the boys for the autographs.  Still nothing like the live sound of the CWB and I miss ya'll so much..........maybe catch you the weekend of the 17th while you're bouncing all over this part of the state.  Stay safe.  Richard

9/30/9 The Craig Woolard Band was FABULOUS!!!! Craig made the reception! I have had a hundred people tell me that the band was the best !!! I know that Craig played longer than expected and tell him that I said thank you. He was funny about the garter that got lost and the 2 improvised garters. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!! God Bless you! Barbara

P.S. If anyone is sitting on the fence about spending money on a band for your reception – DO IT! The best advice I can give you - Find the money somewhere or cut something out A great band like the CWB can MAKE your party! No band, or even a so-so band can break it.

9/29/9 Debbie / Craig – On behalf of all of us at the Greater Classic, I would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for a job well done!  A great party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the sounds of the CWB.  Everything went very well and we firmly believe you have gained a great following from being with us!  Hope our paths cross real soon!

9/28/9  Hey Craig,   My husband and I just got back from Hoto's we live here in Boling Spring Lakes, as I found out at the end, your bass player does, cool.   I was the lady sitting in the front lovin’ every song, my husband next to me quiet, but lovin it.   Thank you for making such a wonderful Sunday. Herb just had a quadruple bypass 4 months ago, we were dancing and he could not breath.   This was our 1st time out to Hoto's this year.   Thank you for being the wonderful person you are, and I can see your wife Debbie, so beautiful, is also.   Thank you for making Herb and my day another beautiful day in our life!   I know you don't remember, but about 3yrs ago you played a trio performance at Ocean Ridge, I was working but standing there listening to every note and song. We have been following you since, local anyway!!   lol   You are the best and we love you! Thank you again and have a great week! I'll keep an eye on your calendar.   Brenda and Herb

9/22/9

Traveled down to SOS in September.  Caught your show at Fat Harolds.  As always, EXCELLENT.  Got the new CD, a couple of t-shirts even had the CD signed by many of the band members, but most importantly Debbie!  (thought I would say you, we both know shes got the hard job)   Request to consider.  My wife said that although we both love your music the best, you do such a great job on other songs.  Mel Carter, Journey, others.  That she was wondering why you don't release a CD of songs you love to sing.  I know that many times you have to seek approval to package and sell others songs, but we both believe your CD would be worth it.    Your an outstanding artist, great writer, great voice and one of the best entertainers we have every seen.  Love your shows. Anyway, slow down and enjoy some of the great Fall weather, you have been on the road alot this summer.   Best Wishes Don & Robby Bank

9/29/9 – In Reference to the CWB and the New CD “MAIN STREET PEOPLE: Note From a Fan: It is a fact that an aged vintage wine has a better taste and color than one produced in the current year. It that were applied to music, Craig Woolard would be a Mouton Rothschild, Bordeaux Red, 1953. Like an aged wine, Craig Woolard and the CWB have only gotten better through the years. One comment I hear over and over is that every time someone sees Craig and the band, they are always the very best ever! I agree hands down. They continue to take it to the next level. To me, this new CD “MAIN STREET” showcases Craig at his absolute best. The songs are vintage R&B mixed with new contemporary sounds.

I have known Craig Woolard for over thirty years, and most of the CWB band members equally as long. Having worked in the radio and television business in the Carolina’s in the early sixties, the music that has evolved into what we described as Beach Music has only gotten better with time. I listen to music with a careful ear for how a song would fit for Craig and the CWB. Two of the songs on this CD, LOVE SWEET LOVE and YOUR LOVE IS AMAZING, show Craig’s amazing talent as a vocalist as well as an accomplished musician. IMPOSSIBLE simply blows me away, and to add to that STEVE CROPPER playing guitar on this song – shows you the enormous respect Craig Woolard has in this industry!

The entire CD makes a major statement about who Craig is and where his musical journey has taken him. He is as passionate today as he has ever been about playing music and entertaining his audience. They always get his very best performance, never anything less. He attracts the very best musicians, and that is what you get with THE CRAIG WOOLARD BAND - The very best in entertainment!

My wish is for all of you to continue on this musical journey with Craig Woolard and the CWB band. Come out and see them perform live and buy the CD. Craig’s desire and musical dreams have not waned one bit. I am moved by his music and hope all of you will be also.

(A TRUE FAN, Douglas T. Pearce)

9/27/9 Hey Craig,   Saw you again for the first time since you left The Embers and I was Blown Away!!! When I lived in Sumter, SC you guys would play the club I worked in called Friday’s and we always had a good time. I now live Tn. and hear very little beach music up here. This leads up to my question of do you guys travel this far? Our 25th wedding ann. Is coming up and my wife’s 50th BD around the same time and I’m planning a surprise party for her and would like to know the cost to book you and your band. It will be around June 19th or so of next year. Please let me know when you have a chance.   Thanks,   Harold

9/26/09 Great show last night Craig - thanks for the extra 35 minutes! Hoping we get The Craig Woolard Band booked for the party I mentioned in February.   Always one of my favorites and seems like a perfect fit for your vocal style and the CWB horn section. I especially like that you guys do such a variety of stuff. The Rod Steward, Ray Charles, Journey, etc. Very very tasty stuff. Maggie Mae was everywhere on campus and radio my freshman year at UNC. So yeah, I identify with that one too.   By the way - as I mentioned - you and the band are some of the best musicians I've seen. And I've played guitar for a long long time and done the band thing too, so I'm not just saying it, I recognize it. Don Jordan is top notch on guitar - he crosses over styles extremely well.   I played in college and our group still gets together a few times a year for fun. We played one of the Downtown Alive concerts back in July and we're still able to get some of the local fans to come out and it's lots of fun. But we got rained into Torero's too. I think over half the shows have had to be inside this year because of rain. (And Donnie Weaver got up with us too for Knock On Wood, he is a trip!)   Anyway, thanks again, look forward to next time. Thanks for the dedication to Lauren on "Georgia" - she loved it! Wanted to know what I had to do to get that done. I told her I didn't know anything about it, that Craig must have known her from somewhere else!   Best regards - Johnny H   9/25/9 NEW CD: IMPOSSIBLE - Getting calls already. It is a WINNER! CB

9/24/9 I just got through listening to CWB's new CD "Main Street People" all the way through, and once again Craig and the band have out done themselves with this one. This CD is sure to be a hit with beach music lovers everywhere, and DJ's all around will be playing songs off this album for years to come. Usually there are albums that are put out with a few good songs on it, but every song on this album is great and easy to listen to. If I had to pick a favorite song for me it would have to be "Beachaholic", but I could easily list several more.   Having watched CWB many times over the last few years, they always put on a fantastic show and are definitely one of the best out there. Craig and his band are to be commended for all of there hard work, and many great songs. Keep up the good work CWB.   Jason P. Angier, NC

9/24/9 I SEND THIS TO YOU WITH THE REALITY THAT I AM ONLY ONE PERSON WITH AN OPINION. I SUPPORT AND RESPECT THE BEACH MUSIC INDUSTRY AS MUCH AS THE NEXT GUY, BUT HAVE FOUND IT TO BE LACKING IN REGARDS TO THE PRODUCT IT ROUTINELY PUTS OUT. MUCH OF THE MUSIC SOUNDS LIKE IT WAS PRODUCED IN THE GARAGE OR BASEMENT WITH TOO MANY ARTIFICIAL TRACKS.   MY MAIN PHILOSOPHY ON COVERING A SONG IS, IF YOU CANT DO IT AS WELL OR BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. IT ONLY SHOWS THAT YOU CANT MEET THE ORIGINAL STANDARD IN ARTISTRY, ARRANGEMENT, OR ENGINEERING.   THAT SAID, I HAVE LISTENED TO MAIN STREET SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE NOW COMPARED IT TO THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS ON MOST OF THE TRACKS AND HAVE CONCLUDED THAT THIS IS THE BEST CD OF COVERS THAT ANY GROUP IN THE BEACH ARENA HAS DONE SINCE I'VE BEEN INVOLVED WITH THE MUSIC. THATS A TALL ORDER CONSIDERING I AM I LIFELONG FAN OF TOP+ AND JACK MACK. IN OTHER WORDS, I WOULD PLAY YOUR VERSIONS OF THE SONGS OVER THE ORIGINALS.   I AM HONORED TO PLAY YOUR TUNES FOR THE CLUB AND WILL PUSH THE DISC EVERY TIME I CAN.   KEEP UP THE GOOD AND EVER IMPROVING WORK AND I'LL SEE YA AROUND SOMETIME.   MY BEST TO ALL. 9/26/9 Hello....was visiting the website and wanted to know if it is possible to purchase CD's or MP3's online.  If not, are there local stores in our area, that you may know of, that carry your music? We live in Kernersville, NC!  I have tried to find "I Got a Feeling" everywhere, my favorite!!  We missed Craig with the Embers, and sorry it took us until now to find him.  Amazing voice and talent! All of my favorite Embers downloads feature him on lead vocals!!  By the way, my best friend is retiring from the WSPD and will be moving to North Myrtle, so we are very excited about seeing you perform often down there!  Thanks for you help, and have a great day.  Linny

9/23/9 Craig,   Geat show at Harold's enjoyed seeing you guys and speaking to you for the first time.  Look forward to seeing ya'll again.  Heard you are close by this weekend at Denver .. may even see ya there.   Lamar WSGE 91.7 FM

9/22/9 Hey, Craig...

Great seeing you, Debbie and the band at SOS.  Congratulations on the new CD.  It is great!  So many good songs as only CWB can do them..

I especially like "Impossible".  Is this the song you would like to promote the first go around, along with "No More Cloudy Days"?  There are other potential hits also.

It is interesting about your releasing "Your Love Is Amazing".  I had given this to Mike Farver years ago for the possibility of someone recording it.  You did a great job on the song.

Let me hear from you.

9/23/9 Love your band!!  We catch your concerts every opportunity we get.  We live in Calabash, so, we see you at Ocean Isle during the summer and at SOS.  Looking forward to seeing you at Sunset Beach on the 30th.  You played for the 25th anniversary of one of our dear friends in 2008 - the Boyds.  Our children who live in Raleigh, Henderson, and Alabama are beach lovers.  They come here as often as they can ...... therefore, I know they would love your Beach-O-Holic t-shirt (the song is great!!!).  Please let me know the availability and price.   Thank you!  A Huge Fan!!   Nancy

9/22/9 Craig, what a great show last night! As I told you before the show,we had hoped to catch you in Mt.Airy, but rain prevented that. Thank goodness the rain held off last night. You guys are consummate performers and always hit it out of the park. As a neighbor of Donald & Beth,I thought it was particularly cool that you gave him props & how nice to introduce their visiting exchange student to Winston-Salem. I am looking forward to getting my copy of your new cd. Thanks for great entertainment!!!      Tim Chambers

9/22/9 I just want you to know I love the Fun Sunday, the beach a holic tshirt was meant for me, but I never get time to prove it.

I hope you saved me a Blue one Debbie, send me your address and I will send a check.

I love the new CD, out of all the new music I heard this was my favorite and the only CD that I went to Judy's House of Oldies to buy, I was going to wait until I saw you again but wanted to listen to on my way home. Some killer songs on this, I know some Awards will be coming off of this for sure.

see you soon,

Judie

9/21/9 Hi Debbie & Craig,   I personally wanted to thank you for the WONDERFUL  job the band did on Saturday night. I was only able to speak to Craig briefly as we came in but I wanted you both to know that you were absolutely great!! It was unfortunate that the facility made us shut down at 10:30 because the director at Pine Lake Pavilion had misled us thinking we could party until 12:00 but everyone told me you were the best band they had ever heard at a function and we are all totally exhausted from all the dancing.  If you ever need a recommendation please do not hesitate to contact me.  Your group is first class  all the way! Thanks a million for making Brooke and Robert’s reception so special.  Joni & Richard(Brooke’s parents)

9/21/9 I would like to thank everyone for a great day and a successful fundraiser! It is always great to see everyone, the time just flies by!! Having been in the position these families find themselves now, I would like to say on their behalf, you will never know the wonderful spirit of hope and relief you have given them with your day of sacrifice. We all realize the monetary help we provide is not a cure for the child. But the relief supplied to the parents enables them to focus on the task of being the rock the sick child and their siblings need to get through this trial. I love you all!! Jake

9/20/9 Craig & Guys,   As always, you provide the best entertainment in Beach Music. What showmanship! We rushed from Tidewater to get to Harolds in time for your show and made it!   I hear from Larry that you might be up this way soon. Hope that works out.   Rest up from SOS. Hope the rest of your year is blessed.   Always, Mopsi

9/20/9 Hi Craig, Just wanted to say “YOU STILL DA MAN”! Man I’ve been listening to you for years and dude seriously you just keep getting better.,. Any way just wanted you to know how much I am inspired by your extreme gift. I try to emulate it with my limited tenor range. Ha! Anyway, I have an idea for a Beach/Shag tune that I wanted to run by you and see what you thought and if you liked it just take it, it’s yours. Have a great week! Look forward to seeing you around.   Barry

9/18/9 THE CRAIG WOOLARD BAND BLEW THE DOORS OFF OF WINSTON SALEM TONIGHT! AWESOME SHOW! I know they moved you to the big stage this year because you had the biggest crowd last year. Looks like they still need to find a bigger one! You had ALL of the people at your stage – even the crowd for the Kiss cover band!

You GUYS ROCK!!!

Thanks for a GREAT show and a GREAT time! Hope to catch you guys again soon.

By the way – LOVE THE NEW CD! Clever cover too!

Frank and the Gang

9/12/9 Craig,

Betty Jean and I really enjoyed hearing you last night. You sounded great as usual. I'm so glad I invited John. He seemed to really got a kick out of hearing you again too. You are the best! cheers,

Robert

9/12/9 I heard one of the cuts on Ray's show today. I really liked it. It shows a different side of your vocals. Not so much like your other work. Very good!

John

9/7/9 Hey Craig -

Just a note to let you know the show was great at The Watermark on Sunday - we had a fine time. Have not heard the band in a while and it was great to catch up. I particularly enjoyed hearing you do the Steve Perry/Journey tune - you never missed a note on that or any other song the whole night. The level of musicianship and the quality of what you guys do is amazing, plus I don't get the feeling that you all are just "going through the motions" like so many bands that are out there. You all seem to truly enjoy what you do and you keep it fresh and fun every night. Keep up the good work, I hope to catch you here in Wilson in a few weeks at the Downtown Alive show. By the way, who works out the CWB arrangements and the horn charts? Do you do all of that?

Best regards -

Johnny (and Lauren) Wilson

PS - there were certainly some interesting distractions between the dancing girls on stage and the kissing girls up front.  I know - when you play in a band you just never know what's gonna happen out there! You handled it all with grace and professionalism...

9/1/9 Craig,   I can't wait to get my hands on a new CD!!!! I cannot make SOS, but I will have to get one ASAP.   We had such a great time with you guys playing at the engagement party. I have not had the time to sit down and write you a proper thank you note, but please know that Sarah and I absolutely had a wonderful time. People are still talking about that party!   So, thanks again so much to you and Debbie and the band. It was wonderful!   Let me know as soon as there is somewhere to get a new CD in the Raleigh area!!   --Chris

8/22/9 Hello Craig!  I just saw you at Margaret and Mark's wedding last night and we loved you!  I actually spoke to you afterwards about my wedding next September in Smithfield, NC.  I was wondering if I could get a price quote to book your band?  Thanks so much!!

-Michele C

8/17/9 Craig,   I want to thank you for coming back to Radford and the GREAT show Friday night.  We were able to get a large crowd for CWB.  All I heard at my reunion Saturday was how great the band was Friday night.  You really blew them away.  For our last song at our reunion I had the DJ play “I Got A Feeling” by CWB.  Several people remarked about how great that was.  Hopefully, we will continue the series next year and we will definitely get you back here. As the ad said , “We can’t have a concert without The CWB!”   Let me know if you have the decals so I can get a couple for my cars.    Once again thank you so much for being such an important part of our concert series and for all your support.  Patty and I are looking forward to seeing you in Hillsville on the 29th.   Gary   7/2/9 You guys are such an awesome band!  I was raised on your music.

It was a pleasure seeing you at the reception that night, when Clint and Morgan got married.   In the first picture that i have attached, i am the little girl on the far left with a pony tail and my sister is the little blonde girl looking at the camera in the jean jacket.  This was downtown raleigh, not sure what year?  maybe 1986?   In the second picture, I am on your left with the dark hair and my sister is on your right with the blonde hair.   Hope you laugh at the pictures, I have some awesome video somewhere with us on stage and your son was playing the sax, it will take me a while to find it but when i do, i will email you.    Can't wait to see you guys live again, my mom is coming with me next time!   Shannon
