7/27/9 AWESOME SHOW AT HOTOS yesterday!! Best band we have seen in a long time. LOVE THE MUSIC! Never been there before. We heard the commercial on the radio, and decided to check it out. That was the last day of our vacation, but we stayed over we had such a great time.

I told Kim you were the best there is in in beach music.
I have been very fortunate this summer for media coverage. the Paid to Party girl chose my party in June in the Friday edition of Charlotte Observer entertainment, Kim Hughes gave me a special page for July 4 weekend for after party. and now this.
God has been good to me, blessed me with friends in higher places like Charlotte Observer Editor and a few others and then passed the word along to their collegues in other media. I question this but was told they had a good story and went with it. and of course the Old Cellar was the most happening place for years. so with my trying to bring that back to live and the trust in the owners and managers to let me do what I want helps too. the owners are friends and told the staff to let me do what I wanted to.
so here we are.
By the way Shag on the Strand was on TV yesterday with a lot of old clips, there you were on stage with Jackie.
Also I have the CD from a few years ago, both version "We made them dance" is a very favorite of mine, is it okay if I put this on my website. even though you were a part of the Embers at that time.
Smart move to go out and build your own band, You did not know me at that time. but greatest friend in the world is Pat Carpenter, we were at SOS and Fun Monday with you on stage and I was told then something was about to happen. and it did. THE CRAIG WOOLARD BAND!

7/21/9 I have received nothing but rave reviews for you & the band. You guys did a superior job. I hope the room and the food for your guys were okay. They really seem like a great bunch of guys. And also thanks to Debbie for all of the behind the scenes work. I’m sure she is the backbone of the organization.

I just wanted to drop you note to let you and the band know how much we really enjoyed the show at the conference in Atlantic Beach Tue. night. That was my 2nd or 3rd time hearing the CWB and it seems to get better each time I see you guys. I enjoyed meeting and speaking with you briefly at one of the breaks and was surprised to find that one of the members of the band was from Pfafftown..just over the river from us as we say.
The band is so entertaining and from the response that I heard after the show I’m sure that the association will be booking you guys many more times in the future.
I noticed that the band will be at the OD Resort on the 22nd. We stay just a few blocks down from there and will be there next week. I hope to come out and catch you guys again there if possible.
Again I just wanted to let you know how much everyone seemed to enjoy the show. I hope to catch you guys next week.

7/4/9 Absolutely awesome last night! Johnny B has answered countless amounts of call ins this morning on his show pertaining to all the fun folks had from early until late. He is really playing it up . Charlotte has North tower, Pour Souls, and The Shakers in town this weekend yet all the radio talk is about how much energy the CWB put into the crowd.
I wish you could hear the stream down on your computer in Cary.
We stayed and tailgaited for awhile last night before heading home around 11 PM. The rug rats collapsed about 5 miles out of town until around 9 this morning. The first thing out of Anna Catherine’s mouth to her brother was a scolding for not giving “Mr. Craig” any cotton candy. He went deaf to that criticism and then told her how terrific she was up on stage dancing and singing.
Kay mentioned about 6 times how that was the best July 4th celebration ever for us, so again, we thank you for a wonderful time.

6/30/9 Hi Debbie and Craig, I just want you to know how much we loved the band being at Kristi’s wedding! We all had so much fun. The photographer, the woman that did the flowers and the Botanical Gardens all said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. And you guys made it that way, along with my beautiful daughter and her “husband” – can’t believe that they are married! They truly love each other as well as everyone at the wedding loved being there. Can’t thank ya’ll enough.

We were the couple dancing on the pier and screaming for your band last Saturday night! We were at another wedding at the Isles – right next to where you were playing for that LUCKY bride at that magnificent house! I felt sorta sorry for my friend because her music was nothing like yours! You are AWESOME! I LOVE YOUR MUSIC! We had a blast listening to you play, and were really impressed.
THAT WAS ONE LUCKY BRIDE AND GROOM – FANTASTIC JOB!
I dropped by when it was over and got a card from one of your guys. And even bought a CD!
The caterer was bragging on you too, so you definitely did a GREAT job!

6/22/9 The performance last night was terrific. You just move a step ahead of the last performance we continue to attend. I really think this may be the team. CJ’s song was performed as well as he has ever sung. The heart was totally into the each lyric and the body language spoke volumes versus 2 years ago when he first began singing with you.

5/27/9 You played for my friends Jenny and George Ragsdale's wedding several years ago. A friend of ours who was at the wedding loved the CWB and asked for your card. She'd saved it in her wallet for FOUR years and when I said, "Do you know any Carolina beach bands?" She said, as a matter of fact, here's a card for Craig Woolard. I am from TN but my parents LOVE beach music and that's what I grew up listening to.And I have the BEST Beach Music band playing at MY wedding! I have to think playing our wedding will be good for your business. Lots and lots of people at the reception are connected to organizations that hire bands all the time.
